EnCon Services International and EnCon Services Ltd. were established in United States and Bulgaria, respectively, to develop industrial and municipal energy efficiency and renewable energy projects throughout Southeast Europe, Central Europe, and other countries in transition throughout Europe and Eurasia. Since 1991, EnCon’s Principals and Staff have been involved in the development and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects throughout the region, with extensive experience in district heating system rehabilitation/modernization, industrial and municipal energy efficiency, and wind and hydro power development. Prior to the establishment of EnCon, its staff was responsible for setting the standard for energy efficiency project development and financing throughout EU Accession Countries, with the implementation of the U.S. Government sponsored Development Credit Authority in Bulgaria – a credit guarantee facility for energy efficiency project development. EnCon maintains offices in both the United States and Bulgaria.
