Description of actual services provided:
Encon Services International LLC cooperated Allplan GmbH under the contract with Austrian Development Bank (OeEB) for the Study on Energy Efficiency in the Financial Sector in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia.
Encon Team performed the following Tasks:
- Task 1: Energy Efficiency Potential Analysis provided a summary of the
- Status quo of the energy efficiency with respect to private households, SMEs and the industry sector in each country
- Status quo of the energy efficiency regarding the different economic sectors (industry, agriculture, etc.) in each country
- Three highest energy consuming economic sectors in each country and which private companies operate in these sectors (the top 10 companies in each sector in each country)
- Frameworks (legal, economical, technical, etc.) for the implementation of EE measures
- Task 2: Identifying the energy opportunities for Austrian companies in the following sectors (and technologies)
- Agriculture, forestry, fishing (tractors, irrigation systems, pumps, pipelines)
- Households / private companies (insulation, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems, hot water systems, lighting, appliances)
- Property managers / owner associations (insulation, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems, hot water systems, lighting, appliances)
- Tourism (insulation, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems, hot water systems, lighting, appliances)
- Companies in the production sector (textiles, chemicals, ceramics, etc.) / construction sector (cement, steel. etc.) / processing sector (metal, food, etc.) (Improvement of production process, appliances, CNC machines, cooling rooms, dryers, lighting)
- Renewable energy systems (solar water heating, PV systems, solar thermal collectors, biomass boilers, heat pumps)
